Zavala was invited by Social Material CIC to collaborate on the design of a promotional campaign for a series of programming. Social Material CIC exists to support people to their best mental health and well-being. The programme, Queer Nature Club South West, will explore queer bugs, meadows, the queer lives of trees, temperate rainforests, pine martens, autumn foraging, and more at different locations in the South West of England.

Various themes and content for workshops were shared with Zavala to inform a collage, including mushrooms, stag beetles, woodlice, mallow, English oak, and starlings. The designs attempt to combine a classical appearance, influenced by earlier natural history design, with a more current look, through a vibrant colour palette.

Collage Elements: English oak, silver-studded blue butterfly, stag beetle, pine marten, hedgehog, woodlice, yew, mallow, wild violet, dog rose, starling, song thrush, artist's bracket
