Gravelmouth Gallery asked Zavala to create a photo booth background for their exhibit called Shoot Yourself along with four other artists, allowing visitors to take photos with the artwork as a backdrop. Zavala created a looping video that would be projected on the visitor. The Floral Geometry video was made using botanical collages and contrasting geometric forms and patterns. The visitors of the gallery were able to stand in front of the projection and be photographed or photograph themselves using their smart phones. With the help of Essentials Studio we set up a photoshoot with model, Gil Caballero, utilizing the projected video.
